A short experimental film where I used audio signals from a sound piece i created to generate animations for a body and skeleton.

The joints of the body and skeleton are each controlled by different tracks/instruments in my audio piece. I recorded, edited, and produced the audio, modeled and rigged the body, rigged the skeleton, created the environment, lit the scene, set up the audio animation networks, and edited the piece.

One of the first things I did for this project was record and experiment with lots of strange audio, which I would later use as the finished composition that would animate the body and skeleton. I recorded natural/bodily noises, like myself squishing/blowing up condoms and letting them explode, eating a banana, shaking around a plastic poncho, and reading a short poem I wrote. I also recorded surprising or unnatural noises, such as distorted guitars, an abandoned singing bowl I found, blown up condoms which I used percussively, and a cymbal. I also applied a multitude of effects on my voice. the result is both from my insides and outsides, blurring the line between my body, and the worlds inside and around me. Where do we end and begin?
